Iranian police closed a restaurant in Khuzestan province’s Mahshah city after a woman singer delivered a performance on the occasion of the restaurant’s opening, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) affiliated Fars News Agency has reported. “Following the circulation of a video on social media which showed a woman singing illegally at a restaurant in Sarbandar, Mahshahr, an investigation was launched,’ Mahshah police chief Farshad Kazemi said. “Police officers closed the restaurant after investigating the issue” and “a judicial case has been filed,” he added.
